It's Quiche! Capice?

On Friday night White Hen failed to have frozen spinach on stock. I mean I don't think they ever have frozen spinach, but Friday night was particularly painful because I actually needed it. So I made something up (Jess might have helped a little) and called it Quiche. Capice?

Ingredients:

1 HUGE red onion. Why use 6 when you have 1 HUGE one?
1 package of cream cheese
3 eggs
sun-dried tomatoes
1/3 cup of milk
romano cheese (shredded)
1 pie crust (I made one myself, but it was a disaster that came out looking more like pizza dough.)
salt
pepper

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. (Other recipes usually prefer a higher temperature, but my oven is evil so I usually lower the temp and cook longer to keep things from burning.)

2. Put pie crust in greased dish.

3. Warm cream cheese to soften. Then beat until mushy/creamy. Add milk and eggs, beating them in intervals. Add cheese and chopped up red onion. Add chopped up sun-dried tomatoes.

4. Add about a t spoon of salt and pepper. More if you prefer.

5. Add anything else if you so desire.

6. Throw into oven.

7. Cook for roughly 30 minutes.

  1. a) This looks delicious
    b) I like the descriptive use of "mushy/creamy" in the official recipe instructions
    c) Jordy threatened me if I didn't comment on this blog. I hope it's ok that I commented on Chelle's post.
    d) Jordy and Chelle are not 400 miles apart. I'm pretty sure they are more like 0.01 miles apart at the moment.
