So I did as the Romans do, and by Romans I mean my housemate Denali who can always be found either roasting things or making rice.
Roasted winter roots.
-root-like and tuber-like objects a.k.a 1 large turnip, 2 small potatoes
-4ish tbsp of olive oil
-3ish tbsp of tamari
-smidges of salt, garlic powder, black pepper, and red pepper flakes
1. Slice roots and tubers.
2. Toss in bowl and coat with olive oil.
3. Add the rest of ingredients and whatever your heart so desires.
4. Bake for 20 min at 425 degrees C.
And voila. Winter-type food for your not-so-inclined-to-admit-that-it-soon-will-be-winter self.
That looks delicious. As does everything else. I am jealous of your culinary prowess.
